Welcome to TALISMAN SPIRITS.
“Old Plants • New Booze”
NEWSFLASH: Our MJV absinthe is in Seacoast area NH State Liquor stores. Working on more outlets and more states.
NH RESTAURANTS & BARS: order MJV now: #6323.
We cannot wait for the opportunity to fill your glass with our brand new and traditional libations! Our creations are flavored with a host of unusual plants, many locally foraged, some never experienced in liquor before. We are currently double-distilling hi-test craft beer from local breweries in a vintage copper alembic still housed at Sea Hagg in North Hampton NH.
We are delighted to introduce our first elixir, Monsieur Jean Vert Absinthe. This unusual and mysterious libation is wonderful with iced water (4 water to 1 MJV) and an other-worldly addition to the classic Sazerac, Corpse Reviver II and a host of other delicious cocktails. Check out our ridiculous absinthe cocktail list! Batch #1 (indicated on back label) is lighter in color with a faint louche effect. Batch #2 is much darker and sports a more opaque louche.
Just bottled is a unique gin-like concoction we’ve named Evergreen Tree Spirit, which sports spruce and balsam tips as well as pine candles–that’s it. Rather than Christmas tree flavors, this spring growth imparts unusual and delicious citrus notes which are sure to inspire some wonderful mixology!
Amaro Pagano is more of a project name than a specific product. Each batch will be it’s own creation featuring a different constellation of foraged herbs, courtesy of Jenna Darcy. Batch #1 of this genre-busting product sports nine types of foraged flora from around the Seacoast area of New Hampshire and Southern Maine and unlike most Amari, is not sweetened. Batch #2 is currently aging with some local maple syrup in the mix. These are by far our most creative and unusual offerings, we can’t wait to make them available to you!
Stay tuned for our next elixir, Umarell Gin! Fashioned after the Plymouth style, Umarell is a completely unique and delicious variation on the venerable style.
